Job Summary
The role requires a reliable and experienced driver to provide safe, professional, and comfortable transportation services. The ideal candidate should possess excellent driving skills, a solid understanding of road networks, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport the employer to various destinations as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, ensuring it’s in optimal condition.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.) and arrange maintenance as needed.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and road regulations.
- Assist with loading/unloading items as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is parked safely at designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer’s personal matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the employer.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a personal driver.
- Familiarity with road networks and traffic regulations in [City/State].
- Proficient with GPS navigation and map applications.
- Punctual, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Effective communication skills in English.
