Donald Trump has intensified his attacks on Kamala Harris, aiming to destroy her credibility and persona as a force of change.
In recent days, Trump has unleashed a barrage of insults, accusing Harris of being responsible for US troop deaths in Afghanistan and complicit in hostage killings in Gaza.
He and his running mate, JD Vance, have also implied that Harris’ mixed race heritage is evidence of a “chameleon”-like character.
Trump’s campaign ads allege that Harris will slash Social Security benefits and welcome millions of undocumented migrants.
Additionally, Trump and his supporters are attempting to frame Harris as a communist and a “Bolshevik.” South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has also blasted Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, as a “security risk” due to his past teaching experience in China.

Trump’s desperation to win has led him to perform policy gyrations on reproductive rights, seeking to narrow the gender gap in polling.
However, his credibility may already be shattered after building the conservative Supreme Court majority that overturned the nationwide constitutional right to an abortion.
As the campaign heats up, Trump’s invective has reached new heights, with increasingly brazen attempts to puncture Harris’ bubble of hope.
However, this approach risks backfiring, potentially bolstering Harris’ warnings that Americans are ready to leave the bitterness and chaos of the Trump era behind.
The next two months will be brutal, with Trump’s behavior bringing its own risks. His antics may ultimately harm his chances, especially among persuadable voters in swing states.
Despite this, Harris’ campaign recognizes the still potent threat from Trump and is preparing for an incredibly close race.
