Successful 2023 Pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel
For the 2023 pilgrimage, the Board airlifted a total of 310 pilgrims on September 30th, 2023, to the Kingdom of Jordan and Israel.
Despite the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war during their stay in the Holy Land, all 310 pilgrims returned home safely, with no casualties or abscondments reported.
The Board promptly arrested and repatriated one individual, Okeowo Funmilayo Tobiloba, who attempted to abscond.
Tri-Continental Special Pilgrimage Group
Additionally, the Board organized a unique July 2023 Special Pilgrimage Group, consisting of pilgrims from three continents – 8 from the USA, 1 from the UK, and 34 from Nigeria.
